Can You Become Addicted to Tadacip?

Tadacip, generic name tadalafil citrate, is a drug prescribed for erectile dysfunction. This has been discovered by Great Britain doctors in 1988 and was introduced to the market by the USA drug company, Cipla Inc.

Tadacip acts by blocking the chemical that makes the blood leave the penile muscles. The result is an increased flow of blood to the penis making it erect.

Does Tadacip cause addiction?

Actually, the use of Tadacip to treat erectile dysfunction will not lead to dependence on the medication. It does not cause addiction. It is not a habit-forming drug. In order to understand this, it is essential to understand the causes of impotence as well as how Tadacip works to solve it.

There are actually many causes of impotence and these include medical conditions particularly diabetes mellitus and hypertension, as well as psychological issues. If the cause is a medical condition, it is important to get clarified that Tadacip will never improve the condition (like hypertension) that is causing the erectile dysfunction. In cases such as this, it is likely for a man to continue using Tadacip. However, this does not mean that he has dependence on Tadacip. It only means that he continues to have a problem with impotence, thus, he continues to need Tadacip.

Tadacip does not also lead to any long-term sexual function changes. Its function is only temporary – to increase blood flow to the penis. This will never affect his sexual performance in the future. As a matter of fact, if his problem is related to performance anxiety about sex, Tadacip might offer him the confidence to overcome his insecurities with impotence.

Therefore, men should not worry about developing dependence to Tadacip. Tadalafil does not cause addiction and long-term changes in sexual function.  When a man continues to need Tadacip, it simply means that he continuously needs it to have erection and not that he is addicted or dependent to it.
